Q: When I pick up the rental do I have to trailer it to the dunes?
A: No you do not, PMS Dune Rentals is located within one mile of the St Anthony Sand
Dunes, so you can show up and ride right from here! Delivery is also an option for a fee to all
3 campground at the St Anthony Sand Dunes.
Q: I have never driven a RZR or ATV before... are they hard to operate?
A: All of our machines are simple to operate. If you have never rode one before, don’t worry,
we will teach you! All of the RZR’s have an automatic transmission, and they opertate the
same as driving a car. The atvs are very easy to get the hang of as we offer ones with semi
automatic transmissions. We have some atv’s that are a little more complex to operate as
they use a 5 speed manual transmission.
Q: When can I pick up my the machine I have rented?
A: We ask that you show up 15 minutes before your rental time to go over any paperwork and
to give a brief overview of the controls of the machine. Half day rentals are 9am-1pm or 1pm-
5pm. Evening rentals by appointment only 5pm-9pm. Full day rentals are 9am-5pm. 24 hour
rentals are 9am or 5pm start times. For mulitple day rentals, please select Multiple 24 hour
rentals for however many days are requested.
Q: Who can operate the rental machines? Who can ride in the machines?
A: As long as the person who signs the rental contract, is 21 or older with a valid drivers
license and credit card, they can allow who ever they would like to operate the machines, as it
is the person who signed the rental contracts’ responsibility for the condition of the rental
machines and terms and conditions outlined in the rental contract. As for riders, the
RZRs/UTVs have seat belts similar to cars, so you can bring a carseat for your little ones and
buckle it into the rental machine. It is great fun for all ages!
Q: Do I have to buy insurance on the rentals?
A:Please check with your own personal insurance company and see if they offer coverage for
the rented vehicles. We are finding that some insurance companies are covering the
machines, since they are UTVs (utilitly vehicles). Please contact us if your insurance company
needs help deciding if they will offer coverage for the machines. (We HIGHLY recommend that
you do because these machines can cost up to almost $30,000!)
*Disclaimer* (We do not guarantee that your insurance company will provide coverage for the
rental machines or for any and all liability while renting the machines. Please contact your
insurance company and we are happy to provide any information we can. This is solely the
responsibility of the renter/lessee.
Q: Is gas included in the rental?
A: Gas is not included in the rental price. However, all of our machines are provided with a full
tank of gas. At the return of the rental, we top off the gas tank and you are only charged for
the gas you use. The machines require a minimum of 91 octance no ethanol fuel. We only
offer 1 full tank per rental machine.
Q: What happens if I do not return the rental on time?
A: Unfortunately, renters in the past have taken advantage of this because we used to try and
work with people when they were late. As of January 1st, 2015 if a rental is later than what
their return time is, there is an automatic $500 Per Machine Per Hour late charge. NO
EXCEPTIONS.
Q What do you require to rent a machine?
A: We require anyone over the age of 21 for ATVs and 21 for UTVs with a valid
drivers license and credit card.
Q:Can I fill out paperwork ahead of time, so I can show up and start riding?
A: You can absolutely fill out the paperwork online before your rental. We highly suggest you
familiarizing yourself with the rental contract before your rental time. That way, you can ask
any questions you may have and be more aware of expectations etc., when you show up for

Q: Do you have helmets and goggles?
A: We do have helmets and goggles available for rent along with the rental machines for a
small fee. All of our helmets are DOT certified and we have many sizes available ranging from
Kids XS to Adult XXXL, we are sure to have a helmet that will fit just about anyone! *renter is
responsible for any damage to helmets or goggles and will be charged for replacements if
ANY damage is done.
